Your day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 — Nairobi to the Masai Mara National Reserve

KENYA • ARRIVAL & FIRST SAFARI

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi on an early-morning flight, where you will be met and assisted with your onward transfer to Wilson Airport for your scheduled light-aircraft flight to Mara Siana airstrip.

On arrival, meet your safari guide and begin your first wildlife experience with a game drive en route to Mara Bushtops Camp. Set within a private conservancy bordering the Masai Mara ecosystem, this exceptional luxury camp combines contemporary comfort, attentive service and an intimate connection with the African wilderness.

Settle into your accommodation, enjoy lunch and take time to appreciate the surrounding landscapes. Depending on arrival time and camp arrangements, take an afternoon game drive to explore the conservancy before returning for sundowners and dinner beneath the African sky.

Day 2 — Explore the Masai Mara

Wake to the sounds of the African bush and set out to discover the remarkable wildlife of the Masai Mara National Reserve and surrounding conservancies.

Accompanied by experienced guides, explore open grasslands, riverine woodland and wildlife-rich plains in search of lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, cheetahs, hyenas and abundant plains game. The region is renowned for its extraordinary predator sightings and spectacular opportunities for wildlife photography.

During the Great Migration season, generally between July and October in the wider Mara ecosystem, large herds of wildebeest and zebra may move through the area. River crossings can occur when conditions and herd movements align, but sightings and timing cannot be guaranteed.

Return to camp for lunch and relaxation before another opportunity for wildlife viewing. Enjoy the tranquillity of your private conservancy, followed by dinner and an evening surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wilderness.

Day 3 — A further day of safari and relaxation

Day 4 — Masai Mara to the Serengeti National Park

KENYA TO TANZANIA • SCENIC LIGHT-AIRCRAFT TRANSFERS

Enjoy a final opportunity for wildlife viewing in the Masai Mara before transferring to Mara Siana airstrip for your onward journey to Tanzania.

The cross-border itinerary involves scheduled light-aircraft sectors and a road transfer for immigration formalities, traditionally via the Migori and Tarime area. Exact routing, flight schedules and border arrangements are subject to operational requirements and should be reconfirmed before departure.

Continue to Kogatende airstrip in the northern Serengeti, where your guide will meet you for a game drive en route to Serengeti Bushtops Camp.

The northern Serengeti is celebrated for its dramatic landscapes, abundant wildlife and seasonal movements of wildebeest and zebra. During your afternoon safari, look out for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, impala, topi, wildebeest and predators that inhabit this remarkable ecosystem.

Arrive at camp to settle in, enjoy dinner and experience the atmosphere of the Tanzanian wilderness.

Day 5 — A full-day safari in the Serengeti

Day 6 — Serengeti to Zanzibar
